“Uniting the world through song”

Jacksonville Mass Choir is the city's newest all city chorus. It is a program of Arts4Jax, Inc.

McDuffie, named Arts Educator of the year by Jacksonville’s Cultural Council, is known for creating and developing the award-winning youth gospel choir Ritz Voices in 2000. She decided to develop this new ensemble in order to expand her musical vision for young people in the arts.

J-MAC is made up of forty talented vocalists between the ages of 13-24..

It has a junior component, Jacksonville Boys & Girls Choir, for young folks ages 5-12.

The group’s cultural diversity has everything to do with its infectious sound and style.

It also has an unusually high number of members with solo capabilities.

J-MAC performs everything from Motown to advanced classical repertoire and music of other cultures. It’s specialty however, is contemporary gospel.

Jacksonville Mass Choir is the choir of the future.
